Our products are offered via our internet store ONLY. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Our policy is to answer your questions ASAP, usually within a few hours but we strive for no more than 12 hours.
Can you tell me a little about TNT? TechNote Time started business in 2004 with its Ohm's law product line of watches and clocks. Jim Dorsey incorporated his unique resistor band color chart identifier on the product, resulting in a very attractive and useful product for electricians, electrical engineers, and other electrical workmen. He motivated his wife, Anne, to market and promote the products via the internet and she then began what has become a very successful business now offering over 300 varied products all geared towards electrical workmen and women, students and hobbyists! TNT is a small woman-owned family business. We ARE real people here and we appreciate your business very much! Let us hear from you and let us hear your ideas! This is Anne with her and Jim's son, Tony. Tony is the "apprentice" at TechNote Time, learning all about the business and lending a hand where needed. Maybe he'll be an entrepreneur too someday! :o)
What types of payments do you accept?
If you order through our online website checkout, we accept all forms of payment and provide free shipping. Make your payment via Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diner's Club or make payments via PayPal with your echeck, Discover, PayPal balance and other forms of payment. You may call us with your order if you prefer: 352.522.0415. At checkout you can also indicate that you would like to pay by check or that you would prefer a phone call for credit card processing.
May I mail you my payment?:
Yes. If you go through checkout and select "mail payment" you can then process your order, both of you and TNT will receive a copy of your order. You can then send your money order, personal check or company check to: TechNote Time, 20200 SW 77th St, Dunnellon FL 34431.
May I fax you my order and/or purchase order?
Yes, please fax to: 352-522-0417. Most educational facilities and organizations can be set up with 30 day net privileges.
How long does it take to receive my order?
We generally ship USPS first class mail or priority mail unless you prefer UPS or Federal Express then additional charges may apply. Generally, we ship within one or two days. We will notify you promptly of any back orders. We try to keep our pages up to date, so if we're out of stock on a particular item, we will indicate so.
How are your products packaged?
All watches are gift packaged, in either black velvet pouches, silver boxes or silver tins. The clocks are boxed and ready to wrap if ordering for a gift. Most of our other products are presented nicely.
Do you offer quantity purchase discounts?
You may want to give your employees a gift for their hard work during the last year, or perhaps you have a graduating class you would like to give a gift to. Even if you want to purchase a watch for yourself and one for a friend, by all means use the discount which you will find as you go through the ordering process. We offer very nice discounts even for two of one item. We encourage colleges and apprenticeship training schools to purchase for their graduating classes or instructors, by providing additional discounts to many products in addition to what's shown. I'd like to resell your products, do you have a program for me?
Of course! We'd be happy to have you resell our products! Please contact us for for more details. When writing please tell us a little about your company or your ideas for reselling.
What if I'd like our .com on your products, in other words, do you customize?

May I receive a brochure and do you have a mailing list for new product announcements?
We're glad that you asked! Requests for brochures, newsletters, etc can be placed by sending us a quick email or use the "Contact Us" or newsletter signup links to the left.
Do you offer gift certificates or coupons? I'm not sure which Ohm's law watch to buy as a gift.
You can purchase a gift certificate from us - by going through our products listing for those options. We also offer discount coupons on occasions.
Do you have a privacy policy? Will you respect my privacy?
Absolutely! We will not give or sell your name, your email or your personal address to anyone. We keep your email address on file for future orders. Please read more about our privacy policy by clicking on the "Privacy" link.
Can I link to your site or capture your images?
Entities and individuals linking to TechNote Time's web site shall not capture pages within frames, present TechNote Time's web site content as its own, or otherwise misrepresent TechNote Time's web site content or misinform users about the origin or ownership of TechNote Time's web site content. Any link to TechNote Time's web site should be a full forward link that passes the client browser to the site unencumbered. The Back button should return the visitor to its site if the visitor wishes to back out.

What is Ohm's Law and who are your products geared for?
The concepts of voltage, current, resistance, impedance, and power are essential to understanding basic electrical circuits and specifications. Our Ohm's law watches provide complex equations for those dealing with or studying electricity and electronics.
Why Ohm's law watches?
We've personally fumbled for Ohm's law formulas ourselves, and felt there had to be a better way than carrying small sheets of paper in our wallets....We knew that we had a market when we designed and produced our first products and found customers within a very short period. We thank you for welcoming us and ordering our products.
Which watch is right for me - AC or DC?
If you're not sure which product is right for you, we believe that the DC formulas should be your choice. Generally those just starting out in electricity/electronics or in their first few years of study will want the DC formulas. Please double check by going to our TechNotes page or our Ohm's Law page for views of the charts in order to make your purchasing decision. Engineers and troubleshooters may want both sets of formulas - then we would like to suggest our HangTime ACDC.
How do I know I'll like your product quality?
Why not read our feedback and see what others have to say about our watches and clocks? Of course, if you are not happy with our products for any reason within 30 days of purchase, we will refund or replace your item within a few days of receiving the product back from you.
Can you give me more details about your wristwatch product line?
Our analog wristwatches are made of a very accurate quartz crystal Japanese movement, they are water resistant, have a glass crystal (except for the #121 model), some crystals are domed and the watches are referenced as such. All products have a sweep seconds hand, and all of our products include batteries.
I'd prefer an expandable twist-o-flex style band, is that an option?
Yes, but only the watches that have a leather band can be converted to a twist-o-flex or nylon band. As you're viewing our watches, there will be bands on the on the bottom of the page if that watch allows changing of the band.
Please tell me about your warranty policy:
All our products carry a one-year limited warranty except for our HangTime ACDC which carries a lifetime limited warranty. All our products have been adjusted and electronically timed by skilled watchmakers, they will be set to your time zone. Your watch and/or clocks will give you excellent service. Should the mechanism develop a problem due to defective workmanship, however, it will be repaired at no charge for parts or labor. Our warranty applies to the mechanism of the watch only. Accidental exposure to watch such as sprinkling will not affect the timekeeping efficiency of water-resistant watches; however, prolonged immersion in water is not recommended -- don't wear in the shower, in the rain etc. where the watch is exposed.
What's your return policy?
We value our relationship with you and assure your satisfaction. If you're not happy, for any reason, we'll return your payment if you send your product back to us within 30 days. All we ask is that you not wear your watch before returning. In other words, don't use the watch for your professional exam and return for a refund! We're real people here, just trying to earn a living (really!!)
